Liberation Day is finally here - Trump will deliver remarks at the "Make America Wealthy Again" event at 4pm from the rose garden
Overnight reports suggest three potential non-exclusive options, including
a two-tiered system,
customized reciprocal plans
and a flat global rate.
No confirmation from the White House though tariffs could take immediate effect but potentially still open to negotiation. Sector/secondary and other tariff measures also on the radar.
ZH is liveblogging it as the official statement will be at 4pm, but there will be plenty of movement before then as some nations capitulate and some push back.
