From one of our trusted contacts in mainland China. We got this Tuesday and have been sitting on it waiting for more context, but none has come yet.

This is being shared bc someone bought a lot of GLD calls today, and while that means nothing directionally (could be a short hedging upside risk), it does mean there is a play ramping up. So our hand was forced.
