Housekeeping: As we said this morning it could be a trap, but… just had a quick back and forth with our trusted colleague Bai in mainland China. Apparently the government is inclined to ramp up their insurance pilot program aggressively. That may be the reason for the bunched-up bullish reports. We hear from a Founder even JPM has one out. Will revert when we know more.
Kind of curious how accurate this information. If true, HSBC seems to be up the creek without the proverbial paddle.
