Good morning. The dollar is up 13. Bonds are mildly mixed. Stocks are up 10 to 35 bps. Gold is up $3.50. Silver Fu. are higher by 5 cents. Copper is down 25bps. Oil is up over $1.00, Nat Gas is up 2c. Crypto continues to defy up 90 to 170 bps. Grains are mixed with Soy up 25bps.
Comment: The two narratives governing Gold and Silver for traders right now are equally powerful and in a short term tug of war after the $100 selloff last week. Here they are:
Gold, Equities, and BTC are on the same page, and miners are in play—Fed Not Serious about inflaton anymore
Gold’s recent strength the past 2 days despite dollar strength and nothing else going on is just a dead cat bounce.— Fed very serious about inflaton still
