**Update on Mining Portfolio Stocks

Doug Casey's Investing Newsletter

UPDATE:

One name failed to mention in my extemporaneous list of mining pros is Goldfinger Capital whose insights have been very productive and run parallel to the other names mentioned. I was remiss to not mention Robert Sinn in my 6 am speech. There are others I’m sure, but his name came to mind as soon as i hit send

Good morning. Two days ago, we were contacted by Matt Smith of Doug Casey’s Crisis Investing. And that caught our attention because we’ve been following Matt’s work for a while now. In fact, we’ve been reading it quite closely very recently as we’ve been building out our own mining portfolio list,

specifically companies we believe stand to benefit from critical mineral status, especially in silver and copper. You know that. Some of you know that because we’ve been discussing threatening to do that for a while. And believe me, the metals are very cheap at the mining level.

As part of that process, we’ve been reviewing the work of analysts we trust. David Kranzler is one. Joe D is another. You may not know who he is, but I need to circle back with him. Concepts. floated with Chris Marcus or another one, but Doug Casey’s team has been very much a part of that mix.

And what we found is this, instead of trying to do every layer of fundamental analysis ourselves, which we have experience in, but it’s a pain in the ass, it’s far more effective to work alongside analysts who bring a strong macro perspective, but can also point to specific companies. explain why they matter, and identify real catalysts.

That’s exactly where Doug Casey’s crisis investing work fits in. So the timing was interesting. when Matt reached out and told us he wanted to recommend Goldfix. His view is that the work complements his own. He approaches the markets from a big-picture macro lens expressed through mining. We approach it from a secular macro perspective combined with daily market

structure and short-term trading insights. Together, that covers the full range from short-term to long-term. with different expressions of the same opinions. So because of that, I want to reciprocate. I’m happy to recommend Doug Casey’s crisis investing and specifically Matt Smith’s work, which we’ve been reading and following ourselves.

We’ll be sending an email to goldfix subscribers today to that effect. So thank you for listening. I’m Vince and thank you again, Doug Casey.
