Most of this is not new to GoldFix readers. But the Apollo charts in this 25 slide deck are clear and understandable.
One thing *is* new. As of today Apollo is the first firm to openly show their clients the CNY/Gold correlation now. We are happy to see this as watchers of it for some time most recently saying so the other day.1
This is the world admitting what many already know. China’s growing influence over Gold prices is a given and to ignore their economy when trying to understand Gold’s moves is not wise.
