It makes sense that commercial in China would want physical collateral. It would make even more sense if there was a digital asset that was fully gold backed that businesses could leverage. The problem is the party will push their "gold backed" CBDC that will never be redeemable, and will never allow an alternative.
Enjoyed the interview, glad to hear Eric is a source for Asian perspective and not just the biased U.S media. Just curious but I'm pretty certain Tom only used the F word only once, is Tom feeling okay ?
Tom mentioned Monetary Metals as a potential financial scam. I am a subscriber to both you and Tom. I would suggest either of yall get Keith Weiner, the founder, on a podcast or talk privately.
I would appreciate your educated opinion on the company.
Sir... Tom's speaking a bit too quick for me... Tell him he owes me an headache :)
But I'm ok with it... I looove silver so much that I suggest You both (as Italians guys... just look at our old 500 lire, consider them like your pre '63 silver coins...
I’ll ask him. I have an option in monetary metals and on Keith’s work.. but haven’t made any public statements
